Dark screen during demo playback (resolved)
Someone mentionned that playback of demos recorded on EUT servers produces a dark screen. Can one of the programmers of the project provide a method to fix this so it can be added to the new demo manager that Anthrax is working on ?

- One of the previous versions of EUT had problems with demos, it should be sorted now (btw Im not involved on the coding).

- Well the problem with 2a that i've noticed so far with demos (on eut wiki it says new version fixes everything btw).
- - You can record demo's fine with the regular demorecord engine on eut.
- - Last beta version of udemo creates invisible characters when reviewing the demo.
- - Anth's version creates a black screen when trying to view a demo taken on eut servers.
- - Lastly demos using both udemo versions can be viewed properly if you switch back to the regular driver but you can't use the handy functions added by udemo, so if you made a nice shot 20 mins into a map you can't use the seekto function.

MouseY problem (resolved)
when min mouseY is set to 0.200000 in eut settings. sometimes it kicks people for having 0.000000 mouseY
on connect when infact they have 6.0 ut`s default setting. small bug but worth noting.
verified by myself also and i joined as spec.

Flag capture sound
no sound when someone caps....very annoying.

Not sure if this is a bug but makes logs to logs/pc folder even when no one cheated.just eut`s settings.

PV .tmp log files(RESOLVED)
Ive just noticed my UT server is currently holding 12 EUT PV .tmp files open all at once. Shouldnt it only ever hold one file open at a time. It must put an extra strain on UT and the server holding all those files open and who knows how many it gets to. --Adrian[ADIES] 09:18, 24 March 2006 (GMT)
UTSTATS logging(RESOLVED)
It looks like EUT1G is recording the utstats head_hunter flack_monkey combo_whore info to player id 0 all the time no matter who scores it.

UTStats logs two servers from same IP when only one is present (UTPure intermittently loads)
EUT_1G: For some reason UTStats is reporting two servers if [PURE] is selected to display in the server title, when used. I suspect that UTPure is intermittently loading, thereby creating separate server titles and two different sets of stats (eg "ServerName[PURE]" and "ServerName"). Just annoying, not harmful as the servers have to have stats merged.--{FOCR}Strych9 04:38, 26 December 2005 (GMT)

Tmp logs files with stars(RESOLVED)
I am wondering... when i get a log file in ..\logs\pv , its always a .tmp file AND always content something like **************************** in it.

Accuracy indicator

Double kill on one player (resolved)
- -I got a few reports about a bug in EUT DeathMatch on my 1on1 server, basically they say that they sometimes get a false double kill, a more precise description is: "@Deck16:the guy was jumping of a lift, I was doing a combo, but I hurt him with a first shot instead, when I killed him with the second shot I got a double kill"

No frags removed with self kill (resolved)
If you suicide yourself, you lose a frag. But if you kill yourself with your own weapon, you don't. It can be used for efficient kamikaze attacks with 6-packs loaded ... if you won't lose a frag, why not ? I hope it wasn't meant to be like that :P --Rush 18:44, 18 November 2005 (GMT)

- Also you can make sure bNoTeamChanges=false, and bFastTeams=true will enable players to use Pure commands to switch teams.

- Team balance in EUT also was removed from functionality. The setting just remained, and I did not detail that in the wiki portion of

Skating players in serverside demos

Crosshairs Vanish(RESOLVED)

Tweaks(RESOLVED)
Can you look at this tweak Just_Me ? http://lux.one.pl/~rush/ut/yzk_twk815.zip Besides of normal tweaks it overrides some textures/meshes(rocket and pulse gun 2nd fire), EUT doesn't allow this and kicks me with the following message in the log :
2005-11-13 14:06.17 [EUT CHEAT] [es]Rush [IP] 192.168.0.2 Client Has Illegal texture Usage! [UWW] [Debug:] 0 None
Many players here in Poland are using a similiar tweak, it isn't considered illegal, both AntiFA and UTPure allowed the modified textures/meshes. Could anything be changed in this case ? But not allowing the textures/meshes is not the real issue, the kick is, cause players do not what is going on, they always played with their tweak and now because of "some stupid addon", they cannot, the tweak should be either allowed or completely reset to defaults(with textures/meshes). --Rush 18:29, 13 November 2005 (GMT)

MouseX and MouseY detection

- the point of that would be?

IP display on F2
Request that show IPs on f2 have 3 options. 1-disabled. 2-admin only. 3-public. currently there either off or shown to all.
Assist points calculation

- The reason I don't like doing that. Player A grabs the flag. Fights off six attackers to get flag out of base. Opponents respawns and kills Player A. But thank goodness Player A's team is playing CTF and he has support. Player B picks up dropped flag has support all be it aggressive support and other team gets thier flag. Now you have a flag standoff. Player B sits in base. Eventually time passes and Player B scores. Even though Player A did most of the work in capturing the flag he is now awarded less points simply based on the amount of time he had the flag rather than based on the effort it took while he had the flag. Now of course the situation could be opposite and Player B for ten minutes could have fought off attackers like a banshee. But there are countless scenerios per map per situation that could be taken into consideration. I see the only fair way is to base the assists simply based on if the client had the flag. --Just_Me 19:49, 17 November 2005 (GMT)
- thats all good but were used to it over the pond. it makes our player give support. with this older system they just dont care. why not make it optional per server then all are happy. thinking again is it not possable to use the existing smartctf and add a scoring system simular to what i asked for but when flag is % from home base say in the base, no more points get added to fc.that would cure your problem and the code is already in smartctf to detect when your near or in base. ---NuFF$@iD 22:01, 17 November 2005 (GMT)
Clearer public server information

Jumpboot counter/Client defaults(RESOLVED)
Can we have a jumpboot counter on the HUD like UTpure.

Stats logging in Warmup Mode(RESOLVED)

- I know warmup is part of pure... but eut does the stats logging doesn't it? If so i would guess there was a way to make eut know when warmup mode is being used so it could stop logging stats before the start of the actual map. It's not a big deal anyway because warmup can be turned off. It's just sometimes pugs and matches take awhile to start up so it's nice to have warmup mode activated--sephir69 15:01, 18 November 2005 (GMT)

- You did nothing wrong. As for the mutator, I think it has to be added in a list somewhere.
Replace UTPure or complement it ?
I have to admit that I haven't tried EUT as of yet and that's mainly because my server is used mostly for matches. What does it enhance actually ? And does it complement or replace UTPure in some ways ? Also, are there any advantages in using EUT ? --Azura 15:15, 13 June 2006 (BST)
