How do I install the Epic Bonuspack #1?
Extract the files and add the following modifications to the configuration file:

How do I start a server with the new game types and mutators from the Epic Bonus Pack #1 ?
The new gametypes:
SkaarjPack.Invasion BonusPack.xMutantGame BonusPack.xLastManStandingGame
The new mutators:
Bonuspack.MutCrateCombo Bonuspack.MutPintSizeCombo

How do I enable stats logging ?
Stats and bots don't work together, you can't use minplayers
and have the game logged for stats. However, stats will belogged in the next match when the server fills up, but this doesn't work well everytime.
To force stats being logged you can specify ?gamestats=true
on the command line when you start the server.
What IP address should I use for the -multihome option ?

I want to set up multiple admins with restrictions ?
So how do I set up the Advanced Admin (XAdmin). To enable the advanced admin edit your config file to the following:
[Engine.GameInfo] AccessControlClass=XAdmin.AccessControlIni
Remove all lines about AdminPassword
. Also remove the the ?AdminName=
and ?AdminPassword=
parts of the command line.
Now start the server and connect to the WebAdmin, the default password and username will be Admin
and Admin
(case sensitive), be sure to change that.
I've set up redirection but people can't download any files, what is wrong ?
Be sure that the redirect URL ends with a slash ('/')
Usualy the redirected site uses compressed files, so make sure the following is set
[IpDrv.HTTPDownload] UseCompression=True
If all this doesn't work it may be because either: you used the incorrect url, the site doesn't allow downloads anymore, the file is simply not there, the file on the site uses the incorrect cases in the filename.
I've set up the Advanced Admin and now the AdminLogin console command doesn't work anymore. What did I do wrong ?
When you use the Advanced Admin the AdminLogin console command has changed to:
adminlogin Username Password
Both Username and Password are case sensitive (even tho you can't see it)
I want to have diffirent mutators per map, how do I do that ?
The maps=
entries in the configuration accept urls, just like you can do on the commandline. So for example:
[XInterface.MapListDoubleDomination] MapNum=0 Maps=DOM-Ruination?mutator=XGame.MutVampire,XGame.MutSlomoD eath Maps=DOM-Core?mutator=XGame.MutVampire Maps=DOM-Suntemple
Note that when you don't specify a ?mutator=
line it will use the last used mutators, if you want to remove all previous mutators in the current map just add an empty mutator list:
Maps=DOM-Suntemple?mutator=
I want to enable GemeStats by I get the following error
GameInfo::InitGame : bEnableStatLogging True Error loading GameStats [] MasterServerUplink: MasterServerGameStats not found - stats uploading disabled
Double check that the followig line is set in your configuration:
[Engine.GameInfo] GameStatsClass=IpDrv.MasterServerGameStats
Crashes and Errors
When I try to record a server side demo the server crashes with the following error
Log: Spawning demorec spectator Warning: Failed to load 'Class Engine.DemoRecSpectator': Failed to find object 'Class Engine.DemoRecSpectator' Warning: Fail
Demo record has been added with the second patch, they changed the class that was responsible for recording the demo. Depending on how you upgrade your server the correct change may not be made.
Make sure you have the following in your .ini file
[Engine.DemoRecDriver] DemoSpectatorClass=UnrealGame.DemoRecSpectator
I get the following error in my server log: Unknown security
ScriptLog: Team 0 ScriptLog: Login: Jebus Warning: Failed to load 'NULL': Can't resolve package name Warning: Failed to load 'Class None.': Can't resolve package name Security: Unknown security
With version 2166 some things have changed, one of these things is the Security Class setting which will validate the players.
To fix the above problem make sure the following is in the .ini file
[Engine.GameInfo] SecurityClass=UnrealGame.UnrealSecurity
I am having various problems on my server since installing UTSecure v2.05. I also get this error message in the log:
Server Package: UTSecure205 Failed to load 'UTSecure205 ': Can't find file 'UTSecure205 ' Failed to load 'UTS
In the help file that came with UTSecure version 205, where it tells you what to add to the ServerPackages
line of the server's ini, there is an extra space at the end of that line. If you copy-n-paste this entry from the UTSecure readme, then you will also copy that extra space, resulting in this error message.
Open your server's ini file, and place your cursor on the line containing
ServerPackages=UTSecure205
Press the "End" key on your keyboard. If there is an extra space at the end of the line, delete it.
I get the following error when I run the server: Error loading GameStats
GameInfo::InitGame : bEnableStatLogging True Failed to load 'NULL': Can't resolve package name Failed to load 'Class None.': Can't resolve package name Error loading GameStats [] MasterSer
Make sure you have the following in your configuration file:
[Engine.GameInfo] GameStatsClass=IpDrv.MasterServerGameStats
I get the following error: PORTSWAP
UdpServerQuery(crt): Port 8898 successfully bound. PORTSWAP detected, exiting... UdpGamespyQuery DM-Compressed.UdpGamespyQuery (Function IpDrv.UdpGamespyQuery.PreBeginPlay:00FB) Assertion failed, line 56 Executing UOb
The server could not bind the original query port, this can happend when you don't shutdown the server correctly. It also happens in UT2003 versions prior to 2186.
The server tries to reget the original port by shutting down.
To disable this behavior set the following in your configuration:
[IpDrv.UdpGamespyQuery] bRestartServerOnPortSwap=False
